Winchester Guildhall classes Closed this Tuesday 10th Dec
Unfortunately a small part of the ceiling in the main (Bapsy) hall has fallen down. Structural engineers are due to be checking the ceiling on Mon 9th / Tues 10th Dec. We should know more by Weds 11th Dec.
It is a section of ceiling at the very rear of the hall over the balcony – a section from the oldest part of the building.
The main ceiling over the dance floor looks to be ok, but the Guildhall need to have it checked by structural engineers before they can allow use of the room again.
Fingers crossed all will be ok for The Posh & Sparkly Christmas Ball on the 17th – I will keep you all updated as soon as I know more.
Don’t forget all other classes open as normal!
