Men leave your left hand on the lady’s left shoulder, as men continue to turn another ½ turn to their right around their lady, men lowering their right hand on their left shoulder – you should end up both facing the same way, with the lady to the left and slightly behind the man. Men step back to the right as you pull and let go with your left hand, whilst raising your right hand to make the lady step forwards unwrapping 1 & ½ turns clockwise. Step back to face. Return. Step back.

Move 4 = Ladyspin Manhattan & Shoulder Slide = Beats 1, 2 & 3 as per a normal Ladyspin. As the ladies come round to face, men catch your lady by placing your right hand on her right shoulder & men also step forwards to the left of your lady with your left foot – ladies step back on your right. Men gently pull with your right hand on the lady’s shoulder to make her step forwards on her right foot without her turning – men go with your lady by stepping back on your left foot. Men gently push with your right hand to make your lady step back on her right foot without her turning – men go with your lady by stepping forwards on your left foot. Men pull with your right hand as you pivot ¼ turn to your left and step back around across in front of your lady – ladies step forwards pivoting ¾ turn to your left until your back is facing your man. Men place your left hand on your lady’s left shoulder (you should be facing her back) and push with both hands (but more so push with your right) to make your lady continue pivoting an extra ¼ turn to her left and step forward in that direction – men follow her pivot so you’re still facing her back with both your hands still on her shoulders but now at arms length away. Men step in to the right of your lady, as you pull with both hands to make the lady step backwards into your left hand side. Men let go with your left hand as you step forwards turning to your left in front of your lady to face, allowing your left hand to slide down the lady’s right arm and catch man’s left to lady’s right. Travelling return. Step back to face.

Move 1 = Teapot Ladyspin = Beats 1, 2, 3 & 4 as per a normal Teapot. Men push and let go with your right hand behind the lady’s back, as you turn to your left sweeping your left arm down to waist level to face as normal, but as your left hand does come down to waist level men place your right hand over the top of your lady’s right wrist & let go with your left so you have changed hands. Men go as if to spin your lady by taking your right hand across to the right at waist level, but block her a second time by placing your left hand over the top of your lady’s right wrist & let go with your right so you have changed hands a second time. Men pull back and let go with your left hand at waist level to spin your lady clockwise. Catch man’s left to lady’s right. Return. Step back.

Move 2 = First Move Wrap and Spin = Beats 1 & 2 as per a normal First Move. Men step with your right foot behind your lady to begin to swap sides, turning to your right to face your lady as you push away with both hands to make your lady step back onto the other side. Men as you push away with both hands, keep hold with your left hand, but take your right hand off the lady’s hip & slightly raise your right hand so you slide and catch & have a double handhold as you step back to face. Men step in to the left of the ladies as you look at her, raising both your hands together over your head as you turn to your left underneath. Continue to swap sides, then as you face – briefly dip your hands in between your faces and then raise them both together again to turn the ladies in a clockwise direction. When the ladies come round to face – men keep your left hand raised as you throw your right hand down and out to the left – letting go to spin your lady 1 extra turn in a clockwise direction. Men lower your left hand to face. Return. Step back.

Move 3 = Scoop Wrap & Unwrap = Step back man’s left to lady’s right. Both step in, men, bring your left hand to your left shoulder, as you take your right arm forwards over the ladies right arm with your elbow pointing forwards, and change hands, so you are now right to right by the man’s left shoulder. Men step forwards to swap sides, turning to your right, as you scoop forwards and then up and out to the right over your lady’s head with your right hand, so that your ladies turn clockwise (Men careful with your elbow). When the ladies have completed their turn, men lower your hand to waist level and offer your left hand underneath – ladies take hold with your left, so you now both have a crossed handhold. Men keep hold with your left hand at waist level as your raise your right hand to turn the lady ½ turn anti-clockwise, taking your right hand over her head and then down near her left hip – the lady’s arms are crossed in front of herself at waist level & the man’s arms are crossed behind her back. Men let go with your right hand as you pull with your left hand at waist level to make your lady turn half a turn clockwise to face & men prepare the lady for a spin by taking your left hand across to the left at waist level and roll her hand into a fist with your hand cupping it like a ball and socket joint. Men throw your left hand across to the right at waist level – letting go to spin your lady anti-clockwise. Catch right to right as you face.
