Men keep your left hand raised & throw your right hand across to the left at waist level – letting go to spin your lady clockwise. When the ladies come round to face, men lower your left hand to waist level. Return. Step back to face.

Move 2 = Throw Away Step Across = Beats 1 & 2 as per a normal Step Across. Continue to swap sides, men pull down with your left elbow as you turn to your left to face your lady and throw your left hand out to the left at waist level – letting go to spin the ladies in a clockwise direction. Catch man’s left to lady’s right. Return. Step back.

Move 3 = Sway Flip Flop First = Beats 1, 2, 3 & 4 as per a normal Sway. Men nudge the ladies across to the left in front of you as you step to your right behind her. Men pull with your right hand at waist level to make your lady side step to her right back into a Sway position – on the halfbeat as the men step to the left into a Sway position, men place your left hand underneath the lady’s left forearm & flick the lady’s left arm up into the air. Men immediately let go with your right hand, but allow it to slide round the lady’s back, as you quickly step underneath the lady’s arm you’ve thrown in the air and quickly walk round in front of her and collect her in a First Move position by taking hold of her right hand with your left by your left shoulder and placing your right hand on the lady’s left hip. This is now the start of the next move…

Move 4 = First Move Jump = Step back man’s left to lady’s right with men signaling by tapping their right hand on their right shoulder. Step in like a normal First Move. Men twist the ladies out to the side as you would do normally, but as you do so you must prepare for the lady’s jump, men face your left palm to the ceiling and take your right hand around behind the lady’s waist and onto her right hip, ladies place your left hand onto the man’s right shoulder; both bend your knees & make sure you have enough space to do the move safely. Ladies push down with both your hands using your man as support as you jump forwards turning 1/2 turn to your left turning to face your man, men guide the ladies with your right arm while supporting her and keep hold with your left hand. Ladies land to face the men, and both step back man’s left hand to lady’s right hand. Travelling Return. Step back.

Intermediate Moves

Move 1 = First Move Back Catch = Beats 1 & 2 as per a normal First Move. Men twist the ladies out to the side as normal, but as you do this pivot forward turning to your right on your right foot so you are facing your partner. Men raise your left hand and pull with your right hand on the lady’s hip to make the ladies step forward under your raised left arm. Men once you are back on the side you started from – lower your left hand to waist level, turn to your right, let go with your left hand from behind your back & catch right to right. Return. Step back.

Move 2 = Catapult Combo = Beats 1 & 2 as per a normal Catapult. Men step forwards and lean forwards as normal but offer your left hand over your right shoulder. Men step back to the left, pulling with your right hand at waist level to bring your lady into your right hand side – ladies take hold of the man’s offered hand by his shoulder. Men take another step back as you pull with your right hand at waist level to start turning your lady anti-clockwise in front of you, as she comes round to face, men raise your right hand to meet your left to turn your lady another whole turn in an anti-clockwise direction. When your lady comes round to face, men lower your left hand to waist level, as you drop your right elbow to block your lady with your right arm like you would in a Yoyo. Men keep your left hand at waist level, as you push and raise your right hand to turn your lady clockwise in front of you. When your lady comes round to face this time, men take your right hand across to the left at waist level – ladies your left arm should be in a half nelson position behind your back. Men throw your right hand out to the right at waist level and let go to make the ladies turn to their left as you turn to your right, when your back is facing your lady offer your right hand out behind you like you would in a Catapult – ladies take hold. From here this move finishes in exactly the same way as a normal Catapult - bring the ladies into your side. Spin the ladies. Catch right to right. Return. Step back.

Men keep hold with your left hand at waist level as your bring your right hand back and up into an ‘L’ shape like you would in a Yoyo. Men still keep hold with your left hand, as you push and raise your right hand to turn your lady 1 complete turn clockwise on the spot. Once your lady completes her turn (ladies your left arm should be in a half nelson behind your back) men take your right hand over your lady’s head and lower it behind her neck like a Comb as you Sway backwards in this position. Sway forwards in this position. Men let go with your left hand, as you gently pull back and raise your right hand to unwrap your lady 1 and 1/2 times in a clockwise direction. Step back to face. Return. Step back.
